I've never played Java Edition since I don't have a gaming computer, but I've been playing Win 10 Edition since the day it came out. I had a 30 year career as a programmer and database developer, and I'm more technical than creative, but I'm learning to build with some aesthetic sensibility. I'm constantly frustrated by the many bugs in MCPE redstone mechanisms, but by dint of hard work have built a working, silent, and fast droppervator, piston double-extenders to open and close my portcullis doors (I'm a little bit of a castle buff), some automated farms, and some other cool devices. I also play survival mode, usually in Normal difficulty but I'm thinking about going to Hard.

I've also been Wikipedia editor for a decade, so I know my way around Mediawiki.
